Website design for law firms
Your website is beautiful.
And it’s not getting you cases.
We build law firm websites that actually convert visitors into clients. Fast, mobile-first, designed to drive calls and form fills, not just pretty pixels.
The problem with most law firm websites
They look great. Nobody calls.
Clean design. Nice photos. Professional branding. And then the phone stays quiet. Here’s what we see all the time.
Slow, confusing, weak CTAs.
Sites that take 8 seconds to load on mobile. Navigation that buries practice areas. Forms with 15 fields. Visitors quit before they ever pick up the phone.
Pretty on desktop. Broken on mobile.
Over 60% of legal searches happen on phones. If your site only looks fine on a laptop, you’re losing more than half your traffic before they read a word.
Built by designers who don’t know legal.
They made it look professional. But they don’t know what makes a lawyer’s phone ring. SEO is an afterthought. Conversion is luck.
What we build
Websites that work, not just sites that look good.
Six things working together, all built around one goal: more of the right calls coming through your door.
Custom design built on your USP
Your firm isn’t cookie-cutter. Your website shouldn’t be either. We design sites that reflect your practice and put what makes you different front and center.
FEATURED
Conversion-focused layouts
Strategic placement of contact forms, phone numbers, and CTAs. We design every page to move visitors toward hiring you, not just to inform.
Built for speed
Optimized code, compressed images, fast hosting. Sub-3-second loads on mobile. Google’s Core Web Vitals tracked and dialed in from day one.
Mobile-first, not just responsive
Actually built with mobile users in mind. Tap-to-call. Buttons sized for thumbs, not mice. Forms that work one-handed on the bus.
SEO + AEO ready from day one
Clean code, proper heading hierarchy, strategic schema markup, fast load times, structured for featured snippets and AI engines. Not retrofitted later.
Tracking + analytics integrated
Call tracking, form tracking, PPC integration, analytics. You’ll know exactly where every lead comes from and which pages convert.
In their words
“They handle my SEO, pay-per-click, content, and website design. They’ve helped me be in the top three in San Diego on Google , even with fewer reviews than my competitors.”

Before we design anything
What makes your firm different?
Every law firm site looks the same
Same stock photos. Same generic “we fight for you” promises. Same forgettable design. The websites that get cases are the ones that immediately answer the visitor’s real question: why you and not the next firm down the list?
Your USP isn’t a tagline
Maybe you have a unique process. Maybe you focus on a specific niche. Maybe you have credentials others don’t. Maybe it’s how you communicate. Whatever it is, it needs to be front and center, not buried in “About.”
The differentiation drives everything
Design, messaging, layout. All of it.
We figure it out first
Before we touch a pixel, we ask the right questions. Look at your competition. Talk through what you actually do differently. Then we design around it so visitors don’t have to guess.
That’s how visitors become clients
Pretty doesn’t convert. Clear differentiation does. We make sure yours is the firm someone calls instead of the next one on the list.
Our work
Selected website design.
Recent websites for service businesses and law firms, each built around the client’s own USP.
Exterior Painting Co.
Local exterior painters in Metro Vancouver, built around warranty and trust. The hero leads with the full paint warranty, WCB coverage, and 100% satisfaction guarantee. A trust-badge wall (BBB, Google, HomeStars, Houzz) loads right below the fold.
- Trust-badge wall above the fold
- Warranty + insured promise
- Tap-to-call and tap-to-text
- Local service-area focus

Criminal Defense Firm
High-stakes, high-contrast design for a Dallas criminal defense attorney. The hero leads with authority, “don’t leave your defense to just anyone”, and the layout pushes credentials, press coverage, and CTAs into the first 10 seconds.
- Authority-first headline
- Press + news integration
- Click-to-call prominence
- High-contrast hero

Medical Spa
Calm, premium design for a Minnesota med spa. Booking is the first nav item, and a video reel of the interior plays in the hero. Live chat sits in the corner, and monthly specials and memberships get their own nav slots to drive repeat bookings.
- Booking-first navigation
- Live chat on every page
- Memberships + specials promoted
- Video hero of the space

Niche-focused design for a Kansas City truck-accident attorney. Everything signals one thing: trucks. Bold imagery, “Millions Recovered,” and a “No Win, No Fee” promise above the fold.

- Credentials + badges
- “No Win, No Fee” promise
- Mobile-first layout

Nail Salon Chain
Bold, multi-location design for a nail salon brand. The red angled hero and “Love Your Nails” tagline lock in the brand identity. Three CTAs above the fold cover app booking, phone calls, and franchise inquiries.
- Distinctive brand identity
- App booking integration
- Multi-location structure
- Franchise inquiry path

Elder Law Firm
Calm, trust-first design for a Florida elder-law attorney. The audience is seniors and their families, so type is larger, contrast is high, and the CTAs are gentle but unmistakable. Designed to feel reassuring on the first visit.

- Senior-friendly typography
- Clear speak-with-attorney CTA
- Mobile-first layout

Mobile Mechanic
Trust-focused design for a South Delta mobile mechanic. The hero pairs a service-area headline with a quote form that sits above the fold on every device. Click-to-call and click-to-text are both available from the top of the page.

- Service-area headline
- Click-to-call + click-to-text
- Single-operator brand

- Portfolio-driven hero
- Process-focused navigation
- 30+ years of experience surfaced
- Accessibility tooling built in

The full system
Why design and marketing have to work together.
Most law firm setups have one company building the website, another running SEO, a third handling PPC, and nobody talking to each other.
Your designer hands you a pretty website and disappears. Then you hire an SEO company. They want to change things, but your designer is gone or charges extra for every update. Your PPC agency builds landing pages that don’t match the site. Nothing connects.
When we build your website, we’re already thinking about how it needs to rank, where PPC traffic will land, how call tracking and analytics integrate, and which pages need conversion-focused layouts.
Everything talks to each other. The tracking is clean. The data makes sense. When a page isn’t converting, we can see exactly why, landing-page bounce, call answering, or intake gap, and fix it.
That’s the difference between a web designer and a real marketing partner.
SEO + AEO from day one
Built to rank. Not retrofitted later.
Most designers build a site and hand it to an SEO company to “optimize.” That’s backwards.
We build SEO into the foundation. Eleven things, every site:
- Clean, crawlable code structure
- Proper heading hierarchy
- Optimized images and file sizes
- Strategic Schema markup per page type
- Strategic internal linking
- Mobile-first indexing ready
- Fast load times (a ranking factor)
- Practice-area pages targeting the right keywords
- Local SEO signals built in
- Content structured for featured snippets
- AI search optimization ready
And because we handle your SEO too, we’re already thinking about keyword strategy and content structure as we design. Your site doesn’t just look good, it’s built to win.
Tracking + data
Data that actually matters.
You need to know what’s working. We implement tracking that shows you the metrics that matter, not vanity numbers.
Because we handle your website, SEO, and PPC together, we can actually use this data to improve everything. No finger-pointing between vendors. No black box. Just clean signals.
01
Which channels drive calls. SEO, PPC, GBP, social, we track them all and show you which ones are actually delivering case-quality leads.
02
Which pages convert. Practice-area pages, blog posts, landing pages. We see what’s working and double down on it.
03
What keywords convert, not just rank. Tied directly to phone calls. No vanity metrics. Just actionable data.
SUCCESS STORY
In their words
“I’ve found Infocus to be extremely knowledgeable in SEO, LSA, and PPC. One of the things I like most is their responsiveness. If you’ve worked with a large SEO company, you know how hard it is to get good communication with the principals, I’ve never found that with Infocus.”
How it works
What happens when we work together.
Six steps. No black box. We tell you exactly where we are at every stage.
Discovery
We learn about your firm, market, and goals. We figure out what makes you different. We look at competitors.
Strategy
We map the site structure, key pages, conversion paths, and USP messaging. We plan how everything integrates with SEO, PPC, and tracking.
Design
We create a custom design that reflects your firm and highlights what makes you different. Clean, professional, conversion-focused.
Development
We build the site. Fast, clean code. Mobile-first. Optimized for speed and SEO. Tracking integrated from day one.
Launch
We test everything. Set up tracking. Make sure SEO elements are in place. Then we launch.
Ongoing
We monitor performance, make updates, optimize based on what’s working. We stick with you for the long haul.
Common questions
Things attorneys always ask.
How long does a new website take?
Most projects take 3–6 weeks from start to launch. Much depends on how fast we get approvals and how much new content or content updates are needed.
Can you redesign my existing site?
Yes. Sometimes we rebuild from scratch. Sometimes we can update what you have. Depends on the current platform and what needs fixing.
What if I need changes after launch?
We handle them. Small updates, content changes, new pages, we’re here to help. No tracking down a designer who disappeared.
Do I own the website?
Yes. You own all the content and design. You’re not “renting” it, you’re never locked in.
What platforms do you build on?
We primarily build on WordPress.
How do you figure out my USP?
We ask questions. We look at your competition. We talk about what you do differently. Then we make sure that differentiation is crystal clear on your site.
Let’s talk about your website
You know your firm.
We know what wins online.
We’ll look at your current site, talk about what makes your firm different, and show you what we can build. No sales pitch. Just an honest conversation.
This isn’t for everyone
Want it cheap
Cheap websites are how you waste money long-term. If your budget is “under $2K,” we’re not the right fit. We do real work for firms that want real results.
Not willing to define your USP
Generic sites get generic results. If you can’t articulate what makes your firm different, we’ll help, but you have to be willing to dig.
Want a designer who disappears
We stick around. Ongoing partnership is the whole point. If you just want a one-time build with no follow-through, hire someone else.
